CONSULTANTS FOR UNDP SUPPORTED PROGRAMME, ABUJA ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BOARD, FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has received certain financial assistance from the United Nations Development
Programme under the United Nations Development Assistance Framework II (UNDAF II). The Administration is desirous of using part of the fund to develop Environmental Codes/Guidelines and Environmental Management Plan for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.


The Federal Capital Territory Administration is in the process of recruiting a consultant to coordinate and facilitate the programme. The terms of reference of the consultant will include, among other things:
  • To produce working papers (guidelines) for the programme;
  • To liaise with the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) for the sake of acceptability and harmonization in all aspects of the programme so as to maintain the focus;
  • To obtain clearance from the AEPB before embarking on any step as it relates to the programme;
  • To produce CD ROMs of proceedings for all participants in the programme;
  • To produce Final Draft as well as Final Reports in Volumes for both the Environmental Management Codes / Guidelines and the Environmental Management Plans for the FCT;
  • To guarantee quick delivery of the Reports and outcomes within two weeks of completion of the Programme;
  • To sign an agreement on procedures of payment for services rendered during and after the Programme with the AEPB. Interested consultants with relevant expertise and experience in Environmental Management field are requested to apply off line based on the terms of reference above (TOR) above.
