![]() Engr. Mohammed Sani Alhassan After training as an Engineer at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1978, Engr. Alhassan proceeded to the Ajoda New Town Development Corporation Ibadan, for the compulsory one year National Youth Service Corp Scheme before taking up appointment with his home state, the Niger State Civil Service between 1978 and 1980. In 1981, he joined the Federal Capital Territory Administration and from there to the Federal Capital Development Authority where he rose from the rank of Senior Engineer to his present post of Executive Secretary since 2004. As the Chief Executive of Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, he has brought his wealth of experience both as a thorough breed professional and astute administrator to bear on the overall performance of the FCDA’s mandate as he sits on top of several Committees and Boards which enables him to give direction and leadership. It is therefore very appropriate to note that Engr. Alhassan’s appointment as Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Administration’s Transition Committee was amongst the three key appointments announced by the present regime when it came to power in May, 2007. Being a knowledge friendly Chief Executive, Engr. Alhassan has never failed to avail both himself and staff any opportunity to acquire new knowledge through seminars, trainings, course and workshops, both at home and abroad. Thus he is a member of Course 169 of the Advance Management Programme of the prestigious Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. Engr.
